01The problem
Scales and loadout disagree. Pile counts are needed today. Year-end inventory goes to the CPA, lender or insurer, and the state regulator says annual reports run late and reclamation cost estimates run low.

03How close the tool gets
On the test site, per-pile volumes came within 0.1% of the known answer and the total within 0.01%, with a stated 95% bound of about 0.7%.

04When you need more
The year-end stockpile inventory statement dated Dec 31, with method, accuracy notes and a sign-off block, repeated quarterly if you like. Optional reclamation progress and slope checks.
- Tons depend on the densities you supply. We don't measure density or moisture.
- Auto-detect expects a flat pad and separated piles. Touching piles, walls or berms need hand-drawn outlines.
- A year-end statement for an auditor or lender is signed off by a licensed PLS/PE partner. The sample sign-off block is blank on purpose.
