01The problem
When internal crews are committed, a firm may need added capture or processing capacity. Your firm keeps the project scope and signoff; the data and file handoff are agreed for each site.
02What you get
- 01Review a modeled partner kit built around a small point-cloud crop, with units, coordinate system and layer names considered in the handoff.
- 02Example files include contours (DXF), a LandXML surface, a DEM and spot elevations (CSV), subject to project scope and format review.
- 03The sample package uses synthetic modeled data; it is an example of file organization, not field validation.
03How close the tool gets
The sample uses synthetic modeled data. Automated checks cover selected file and schema properties; opening the files in Civil 3D has not been tested. This example does not establish field accuracy.

04When you need more
Capture and processing scoped under your firm's responsible charge, with your firm retaining project scope and signoff.
- The sample package uses synthetic modeled data; Civil 3D opening has not been tested.
- Heights are scaled, not re-datumed, and the datum label is text only. You confirm datum and geoid.
- The accuracy statement needs surveyed checkpoints. The sample statement wording is a draft to check against each contract.
- Any deliverable requiring a seal must be reviewed and sealed by the applicable PLS or PE of record.
